A couple nights ago I made a quiche lorraine, filled with mild cheddar cheese and bacon! This made me think about how I always recall microwaving bacon while growing up. Though you often see bacon sizzling on a nice hot skillet on TV shows and pictures. That was not how I knew to cook bacon and so when I was once asked to cook the bacon on the stove, I felt a bit unsure. To this day I still prefer the microwave method. While on the topic of bacon, I like mine cooked well to a crisp and crunchy, not chewy.
