On Sunday Ben and I explored the new Ikea with some good friends. Here are a few thoughts:
- It’s massive.
- I love the interior mock-up showrooms! I mean it a great place to get ideas if you’re remodeling or building.
- They are committed to the showroom mock-ups, complete with wardrobes and all and lots of books.
- I still cannot determine an office chair preference and I sat in quite a few trying to figure it out.
- I must love greenery… I mean I just gushed over the fake plants everywhere. If they had any of the poinsettias in stock I would have bought three.
Here are some photos of the artificial plants… bringing some green into a room just makes it homier, right??
Sweetly,
Gwenlynn
Agree with you om the greens, just make sure you have enough light entering the place for the little plants :))

I have a few potted plants of green onions, chives, and oregano by a south facing window. 🌿😀

That is awesome, I need more windows so I can convince my SO that we need more plants 😀

I would love to have a heated sunroom with plenty of space for additonal potted herbs throughout the year. Maybe one day…

You and me together, I am limited by the amount of light in the house, but who knows what the future holds 😀

Artificial plants are a great idea. They brighten up the area and require no pesky maintenance to keep them alive 🙂 IKEA’s are funny old places like an Aladdin’s cave full of wonders, I find once you go in, it takes an expedition to get yourself back out again. You have to schedule a whole day to get round the place and I’m sure you come out of there a different person afterwards 🙂

I took my new Ikea plant into my office desk to bright the space up. 🙂 I have noticed it is quite a trip to get through Ikea and finding the shortcuts are very useful.

The shortcuts are essential if you want to make it out of there and not collapse in sheer exhaustion before you reach the end 🙂
