Productive Rainy Day

Yesterday was just one those rainy days when you stay inside where it’s nice and warm and feel like curling up to take a nap. Which yes I did nap, but also managed to get a few things done.

The weather gave me the perfect opportunity to give Emma an overdue bath. The garden tub in our master bath was great for this with its hose shower head! The only struggle was getting Emma in and out but I think this ended up being a much better experience than previous times I have tried to bathe her. She is not very fond of having bowls of water poured over her and honestly it not a very efficientย method either so I think the garden tub is a win-win. ๐Ÿ™‚ I posted several pictures on her Instagram yesterday of this tub time adventure.

I was almost inclined to take a picture of all the hair Emma shred through the whole grooming process, it was quite a pile. I had to sweep the bathroom tile several times to clean it all up. But finally she was fit for carpet and we went about the rest of our Saturday.

I took some time to finish icing some more sugar cookies that I had made up with the others. I wanted to get video of icing all of them but as half expected my phone ran out of storage space. But fear not, I got several videos and pictures of all of them to share over the upcoming days.

Sweetly,

Gwenlynn

Dog bathing is a challenge. Showering is what works best for us.

Yes indeed, a shower typically works better. That’s why I used the shower head hose on the tub. It worked great! ๐Ÿ˜€

  2. Lol Your Corgi has a long tongue, she must be able to keep her nose very clean! Have time to finish going through these posts for the rest of the month now and still licking my lips at the cookies. November seems so far away but I enjoy these fond(ant) memories ๐Ÿ˜‰
