Most of the family holiday dinners we go to, be it Thanksgiving or Christmas, is served buffet style. Dishes are laid out in the kitchen for people to pile on to their plates and then find a spot at the table. With the food out in the kitchen, there is plenty of space on the table for mom’s china place settings, butter, salt, pepper, and a centerpiece. The most memorable centerpiece my Mom puts out is her Snowbabies.
On one end is a snowball fight, with two fortified behind a wall.
In the middle of the table, they’re explorers in the artic searching for wonders and winter wildlife. Yeah, look there’s a couple of walruses!
On the other end your back to classic sledding and dancing in the snow. It’s just such fun to look at all the things the Snowbabies are up to and use your imagination to give them stories and tales of their adventures.
