It’s been almost 3 weeks now since I started my seeds in the AeroGarden. It’s been such a joy to watch the seeds sprout and grow up through the pods. Basil as typical was the first to come out. It currently has two sets of leaves and has a lovely strong smell. 🙂
Chives were next popping up with a single blade and now starting to fill out with a few more blades.
The Parsley was quickly following the chives and also has a few true leaves out from the seedlings. I am so excited to have all these herbs ready on hand. I often use parsley to garnish dishes with a bit of parmesan cheese!
Sadly my spinach struggled. I kept checking and looking down the pod and wasn’t finding much. My seeds didn’t seem to sprout. So on Sunday I cut a slit down the pod and took out the old seeds and put in a few new seeds, from the same packet and placed the pod back in the garden. I am really hoping these take and sprout up. As I mentioned in my post on salads I much prefer to have spinach and arugula.
What plants would you put in your indoor garden?
