Last weekend I tested out making a bundt cake. Let’s say I needed to google more bundt pan greasing tips. Part of the top of the cake stuck in the pan.
Fear not, the cake was saved from the pan, placed back on the cake and flipped over.
It’s an upside down bundt cake. Wa-La!
Once on the plate, it was then glazed with Nutella and buttercream flowers.
For this cake, I used 3 different flower tips and a leaf tip to pipe the design on top.
The cake was delicious and I loved the chocolate hazelnut taste with the vanilla cake and buttercream.
I’ll post pictures of Sunday’s Easter cake next week, hopefully, it all glides out the pan in one piece!
What sweet treats do you have planned for Easter?
Sweetly,
Gwenlynn
