What do you do when you hang out with friends over the weekend? Baking of course!
I had a lunch late last month with a friend and we had a lot of fun catching up and talking about Christmas cookies. Leaving that lunch the idea of a Christmas cookie baking day was born and oh am I over ambitious.
I found these cookies while searching for pumpkin recipes to try this month and have fallen in love. The Pinterest post I found calls them soft and chewy, and I would definitely agree. Just so yummy, I can’t help but a grab a few at a time! If you like pumpkin desserts and snickerdoodle cookies I strongly suggest you bake yourself a batch.
I’ve been seeing this lately all over, ice cream made in a flat sheet, scraped up into rolls, and served. It looks so cool. I found a recipe and thought I would give it a try. Check out the photos below. Note I think I need to give it another go, but next time half the recipe for my baking sheet so the ice cream is thin and easier to roll and fewer sprinkles. My sprinkle density ended up a little high since they sank to the bottom and I didn’t realize how much I had already put in.
Here is a throwback to a couple of photos of these white chocolate peanut butter oatmeal cream pies I made earlier this year. I had a similar dessert at a shop and fell in love, and thus had to figure out how to make them myself.
