Did you know we peanut butter lovers have a day! It’s March 1st. To be fair I didn’t know this ahead of time, but it was a wonderful tidbit I learned from a restaurant promotion email this morning.
I have finally gotten my Peanut Butter Cookie recipe to where I want it.
So delicious I’m going to share it with a twist just for valentines day or if you’re a fan of the color red!
In the past, I had heard of making cakes in the microwave with coffee mugs and this cookbook just happened to have one those such mugcake recipes. I had all the ingredients on hand already and thought it would be a great recipe to try out to christen the new cookbook.
If you’re ever at a farmer’s market that sells natural nut butter, I suggest you give it a try. It’s great in peanut butter cookies and almond butter makes a great substitute for an even nuttier flavor.
Along with my peanut butter cookie recipe, I am working on another treat.
So I have a peanut butter cookie recipe from a relative and have been recently been working to try and modify it to make my cookies more soft and chewy. I make a switch in my ingredients last week and was very excited with the outcome. I think I am finally starting to get my recipe where I want it to be. So I documented by taking photos of the cookies! Check them out below. How do you like your cookies? crunchy or chewy?
Here is a throwback to a couple of photos of these white chocolate peanut butter oatmeal cream pies I made earlier this year. I had a similar dessert at a shop and fell in love, and thus had to figure out how to make them myself.
